Overview

What we build, and why it gets the call

Custom design and build for service businesses, shops and clinics. Mobile-first, quick to load, and structured so search engines and customers both find what they need.

Most small business websites fail for boring reasons. They take six seconds to load on a phone. The phone number is buried in a footer. The homepage explains the company history when the visitor just wants to know whether you cover their city and how much it costs.

We build the opposite of that. Every page gets one job, one clear heading and one obvious next step. The design is custom to your business — not a stock theme with your logo dropped on top — and it is built on modern, static-first technology so it stays fast on a five-year-old Android in a parking lot in Warren.

You get the whole thing at the end: code, content, domain, analytics. If you ever leave, you leave with everything.

Best fit for

  • Trades and home services with no site or a site older than five years
  • Clinics, salons and studios that need bookings, not brochures
  • Restaurants and shops fighting a slow, third-party-hosted page
  • Any business embarrassed to hand out its own web address

What you end up with

  • Loads in under 1.5 seconds on a mid-range phone
  • Passes Core Web Vitals on day one
  • Every page has one clear call to action
  • Readable on a phone without pinching or zooming
  • You can edit your own text without calling us

What is included

Everything in website design

No line items held back for an upsell conversation later.

Custom, mobile-first design

Designed for your business and your customers, starting from the phone screen where most of your traffic already is. No stock template you have to work around later.

Copywriting with you, not at you

A 60-minute interview, then we draft every page. You edit. Nobody hands you a blank content spreadsheet and disappears for a month.

Speed budget enforced

Compressed and correctly sized images, no bloated page builders, Core Web Vitals in the green before we call it done.

Lead capture that works

Contact forms that email you within seconds, click-to-call on mobile, and every submission stored so nothing gets lost in a spam folder.

SEO foundations included

Clean heading structure, unique titles and descriptions, schema markup, XML sitemap and a Google Search Console handoff on every build.

Analytics and training

Traffic and conversion tracking configured, plus a recorded walkthrough of how to edit your own content. Twenty minutes, yours to keep.

How it works

The website design process

Four steps, clear handoffs, and a firm answer whenever you ask where things stand.

  1. 0130 min

    Discovery call

Thirty minutes on what you sell, who buys it, which towns you cover and what your current site is failing to do. We come back with a fixed quote.

  2. 02Week 1

    Content & structure

We map the pages, interview you for the copy, and draft every word. You review one document instead of a dozen half-built pages.

  3. 03Weeks 2–4

    Design & build

Homepage design first for approval, then the rest of the site built out on a private preview link you can watch fill in.

  4. 04Week 5

    Launch & handoff

Speed and accessibility pass, redirects from the old site, DNS cutover, Search Console submission, then the training walkthrough.

FAQ

Website Design questions

What owners ask us before they commit.

How long does a small business website take?
Three to five weeks from kickoff for a typical five-to-ten page site. The single biggest variable is how quickly copy and photos come back from you — projects that stall almost always stall there, so we draft the copy ourselves to keep it moving.
Do I own the website when it is finished?
Yes, completely. The domain stays in your name, the code and content are yours, and we hand over every login at launch. There is no proprietary platform holding your site hostage and no cancellation fee.
Can you redesign my existing site instead of starting over?
Often, yes. If the content is decent and only the design and speed are the problem, a rebuild on the same content is faster and cheaper. We will tell you honestly on the discovery call which route makes more sense.
What do you need from me?
An hour for the discovery and copy interview, your logo and any photos you already have, and one round of feedback at design approval. That is genuinely it. If you have no photos, we will tell you what to shoot on your phone or arrange a local photographer.
